About Me
I am a 26 year old professional dancer originally from New Zealand, (I hold dual citizenship and am able to live and work in the UK) I am currently working as a self employed graphic designer and performer. I have a lot of experience working with children, the past year I have nannied for a lovely family in Cheltenham with 2 adorable children 3 and 5 years old. I have recently relocated to Cardiff so am looking for a new family to help out. I have taught ballet, street dance and contemporary to all age ranges of children, along with working part time in performing art schools where I was the students director. I have babysat over the years for many families and friends and adore working with children. I'm looking for a part time position or casual/flexible role, a family that needs flexibility and I can accommodate to that. I'm a caring, organised and loving person who would strive to be the best nanny for your family.
My Experience
I have babysat and nannied many families over the years, predominately in New Zealand - the jobs involved getting the children ready for school, dropping/picking up from school, making the children dinner, cleaning up household duties and on occasion putting them to bed if the parents weren't home. Babysitting age ranges from newborn to 8years old. I have Nannied two families over the past year. Ages 2-5, the role included driving kids to and from school, making dinner, bathing the children and putting them to bed.
I have worked for Authentic Performing arts school in Oxford where I was an acting coach to ages 11-15years old, along with teaching dance workshops to ages 5-10.
I have taught ballet to ages 3-8 over my years of being a performer - private lessons and classes.
My Qualifications
I don't have any childcare qualifications except for experience and a DBS certificate.
I have a Diploma in Contemporary dance.
