About Me
Hello, my name is Meg! I'm American and just recently moved from the States to the UK to be with my husband. I have a degree in Creative Writing & Literature with a teaching certificate to teach English as a foreign language. I have been a babysitter off and on since the age of 14 and I'm hoping to someday gain qualified teaching status for primary school. By returning to babysitting, I am hoping to sharpen my skills so that will in turn help prepare me for my career in teaching someday.
My Experience
I have experience in babysitting children from infancy to ages 11, I have been babysitting off and on since the age of 14. I also have personal experience in babysitting, as I have two nephews, ages 5 and 11, who I have looked after on many occasions.
My Qualifications
My qualifications include professional babysitting experience since the age of 14 doing freelance work, including personal experience in caring for my nephews. I have also taken classes in childhood development as well as personal studies in child protection, such as, life saving practices such as the Heimlich Maneuver and CPR.
My Availability
I am available Monday through Friday, from the afternoon through the evening, the hours between 12:00pm to 9:00pm. On the weekend I am available per advance notice for babysitting duties from 12:00pm to 10:00pm. I am also available for last minute babysitting services if there is a genuine need such as family emergencies, doctors appointments, work meetings, or scheduled work shifts.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I charge an hourly rate which I accept in cash or bank transfer. My rate is £10.00 per hour Monday through Friday, on weekends my rate is £11 per hour.
