Hi there!
Thanks for visiting my profile. My name is Kelly and I am a mummy to two gorgeous boys. My eldest has just started primary school this academic year and my youngest was born April this year. I have been with my husband for over ten years and we have been married for over five years.
Skippity Roo Childminding will be a small, home from home setting providing that loving family feel. I am passionate about children learning through play and giving children exposure to real life, hands on, practical experiences. We will aim to get out most days visiting local playgroups, parks and other attractions.
My Experience
I have worked with children in childcare settings for over 15 years. I started off my career in daycare settings working with all age ranges/rooms (Baby, toddler, pre-school).
For the last 12 years I have taught in primary schools, teaching nursery age, reception and year 1 pupils. Throughout my time in schools I have a wealth of experience and strategies to support children who have SEND, physical disabilities and English as an additional language.
My Qualifications
*BTEC National Diploma in Earlys Years - Distinction, Distinction, Distinction.
*BA Honours in Early Education with qualified teacher status - 2:1 Degree.
My Availability
Two day space available on Wednesday and Thursday for a child 12 months or older.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Tax Free Childcare & Funded Places Available for 2, 3 & 4 year olds available.
£45 daily fee (7.30am till 5.30pm)
Within this price snacks, meals and local trips/outings are included.
NOT INCLUDED: Nappies, wipes and formula.
Wrap around care for Smallwood Primary School only:
*Breakfast club: £7 (7.30am till school drop off)
Within this price breakfast is included.
*After School club: £10 (school pick up till 5.30pm)
Within this price a hot meal is included.
School holiday care - subject to availability.
£40 for a full day (7.30am till 5.30pm)
Within this price breakfast and snacks and local outings are included.
NOT INCLUDED: Lunch or evening meals - you can add these on for £2.50 each.
Hourly fees for holiday childcare - £5.
A minimum booking of 6 hours is required to enable us to have enough time to go out on trips.
