About Me
I have 4 grown up children and 3 grandchildren and have spent most of my adult life working with children and their families.
I love helping children grow and develop, giving them new experiences and opportunities to expand their knowledge and skills. This happens by the toys, activities and equipment at Oakfield, attending toddler groups and other settings, play parks and trips.
My Experience
I am trained as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, with a Diploma in EYFS, Paediatric First Aid and First Aid in the Workplace and have also completed training in Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Autism, Asthma, Developmental Delay, EpiPen, Signing, Forest School, PIPS, Attachment Based Mentoring, Lego Therapy, Therapeutic play and have experience with Learning difficulties, Dravets Syndrome, Epilepsy, Challenging behaviour, Asperger Syndrome, ADHD, Speech & Language and Downs syndrome.
I have knowledge of many Dietary and Medical needs, including diabetes, food allergies and intolerances, including coeliac and lactose intolerance.
