About Me
Hello, my name is Chalise and I am a private tutor in Greater Manchester with over 4 years experience as a teacher. I have recently moved to the area and I have just finished maternity leave. I can offer high quality, engaging, tutoring sessions for all primary subjects as well as offering specific phonics tutoring to support a child whilst learning to read. I can offer these sessions either online or face to face. I can also offer school pick ups and drop offs as well as babysitting locally.
My Experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with 4 years experience, specialising in Key Stage 1 and reading. I have specific training and experience of teaching the Read, Write, Inc scheme. I have experience of teaching all Primary subjects and a passion for music and dance, incorporating this where possible to make learning enjoyable. I have experience of working with children with special educational needs and different behavioural needs.
I am also a mum to a little boy, giving me experience of looking after a young child.
My Qualifications
2:1 in Primary Education with Qualified Teaching Status
Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care
14 GCSE's including English, Maths and Science.
My Availability
I can currently be quite flexible with notice however will only be available part time with occasional weekends and evenings from September.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.50 per hour
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
I can offer discounts on block bookings for tutoring and/or babysitting. Please contact me to discuss. I will also consider shorter sessions of tutoring for younger children, locally. Prices vary depending on days needed for babysitting.
