My Experience
I have a wealth of experience working with children in a variety of capacities. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked as a creche assistant at Wentworth Tennis and Health Club for 5 months. During this time, I was responsible for supervising and entertaining children of all ages while their parents used the facilities at the club. I gained valuable experience in managing multiple children at once, creating fun and engaging activities, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the children in my care.
In addition to my work at the health club, I've also worked as a tutor for children for over a year. As a tutor, I helped children with their homework and provided additional academic support in a range of subjects. This experience gave me insight into the unique needs and challenges that children face, and I learned how to tailor my approach to meet each child's individual needs.
Over the past three years, I've also had the opportunity to babysit numerous children on a regular basis. This has included children ranging in age from infants to preteens and has given me experience in everything from bottle-feeding to homework help and everything in between.
Finally, I worked in a hospital where I have received extensive healthcare training and have taken a Red Cross course specifically tailored for children and infants.
My Qualifications
I am fully first aid trained and have undergone a DBS check. Additionally, I have received training as a childminder and am confident in my abilities to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children in my care. My qualifications and experience have prepared me to excel in this role.
