hello my name is Katie. I live in St Blazey. I am 20 years old, I am 1 out of 8 siblings. and I have about 15 years of experience looking after children. this is from a wide range of ages as well as a variety of needs and support. i have worked in care homes and i have certificates in health and social care level 2. i am going to college to further study health and social care level 3.
My Experience
I am fully capable of everything from basic childcare such as having fun and keeping kids entertained, fed and watered! to a more complex side of it, this can be from inclusive personal care, supporting with day to day tasks and working with a wide range of behaviours as well as understandings. I am first aid trained, epilepsy trained, trained in administering medication such as EpiPens, Calpol, tablets etc. i can look after a single child to a whole household. the amount of children does not affect the ability or consideration to my care. not to mention i can cook sufficient and delicious meals and follow a routine if required.
My Qualifications
i have an in date DBS certificate. health and social care level 2. GCSE food and nutrition.
My Availability
Due to only recently moving to St Blazey, I am currently renovating my house, so i will NOT be available until the beginning of next month. (JULY)
Starting from next month, I am available from 6:30am till 11:00pm, three days a week.
Please don't hesitate contacting me to discuss an alternative schedule or timings, however i may decline due to personal arrangements.
