Hi,
New to this site, looking for some extra income due to the cost of living crisis.
My Experience
I recently worked in care for over 2 years. Although, this was specific to the elderly I believe when it comes down to it, children and the elderly have very similar, if not the same, needs in their care. I gained experience in cleanliness, physical assistance and dispensing medication.
I am currently employed as my younger sisters carer for 35 hours a week. She is neurodiverse and therefore I have a lifetime experience on autism and ADHD.
I am also taking a course specialised in neurodiverse individuals, especially children.
I have 5 nephews ranging from the ages 4-11. All their lives I have been a babysitter to them, as well as their fun auntie. I like to believe I am their favourite since I spend most time with them. My sisters still rely on me to this day for any help they may need and to also pick them up safely from school.
My Qualifications
Currently no official qualifications in childcare.
Official qualifications is a distinction level diploma in business.

Evenings on the weekend.
