My Experience
With extensive experience spanning decades, I have dedicated my career to working in primary schools. Recognised by countless children as either Miss Curry or Habo Sahra (Habo meaning aunty in Somali), I have built strong connections with young learners. In addition to my professional background, I am also a proud mother of three grown-up boys.
My Qualifications
Pediatric First Aid: Certification in pediatric first aid equips childminders with the necessary skills and knowledge to respond to medical emergencies and provide first-aid care for children.
CACHE Level 3 Award in Preparing to Work in Home-based Childcare
Common Core Skill and Knowledge: This included Effective communication and engagement with children, Child Development, Safeguarding, Supporting transitions, Information sharing, and promoting the welfare of the child.
Safeguarding and Child Protection: Training in safeguarding and child protection ensures that childminders understand their responsibilities in keeping children safe from harm and abuse.
