Hey all! I'm a university student entering my final year in Bristol.
My Experience
I have a lot of experience with young girls in school, mainly 5-8 years olds. I have volunteered in a primary school and have gained a real insight into being a teaching assistant. I helped pupils with their reading, encouraging them to sound out phrases phonetically when they struggled with certain difficult words. As well as this, I also assisted in Maths classes, helping children with understanding fractions, mass and describing movement. I was given a lot of responsibility as I marked their homework and also helped the form teacher with any extra work.
My Qualifications
I received 3 As in my A levels in English Literature, History of Art and Government and Politics. I took 10 GCSES, some of which were international, and received As in Maths, English language and English Literature.
My Availability
I am free in the summer holiday (for 2 weeks in July and 3 weeks in August). I should get my university timetable in September which will mean more clarity over my availability in term time.
