About Me
I have over 7 years experience working with children in early childhood and I have limited availability for 1-5 year olds. My setting is exclusively for early years, so at any one time I will have a maximum of 3 under 5 year olds. As a childminder I decided to provide this type of care as in my experience in nurseries, younger children require and deserve a focused approach and I wanted to provide a calm and comfortable situation that parents could feel happy to leave their child in.
My home setting is perfect for small children to play and learn with a peaceful and secure garden space to explore. I am located close to a local park and shops which we often utilise for fun and educational outings! I love to create learning opportunities to follow children’s interests and tailor care to the individual child.
As my setting is only for a few young children, they wont be disturbed by school drop off/pick up and have more freedom to keep their home routines, which I try to work closely with parents to replicate. I want the children in my care to feel relaxed, happy and have freedom to explore. As children approach school age, I can arrange visits to the school to help settle them in.
I am conveniently located on the outskirts of Wellingborough, close to the bypass with easy access to Kettering and Northampton for parents or carers that require drop off on a commute.

My Experience
I have 7 years experience working in a variety of different cultural settings in Asia and the UK, and have full international background checks and references. Early years education is my passion and I love to help children develop their knowledge, understanding and skills and use their interests to relate to their learning.
My Qualifications
I am degree qualified and continue to study to keep up to date with current knowledge and upgrade my qualifications.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
**Please Note:
My rate will be going up in June, places booked before then will remain at the same rate for the rest of 2024**
I accept Tax-free Childcare and government funding, please contact me with any queries about this.
My hourly rate includes food provision of home cooked food including nutritious snacks served age appropriately. Allergies and dietary restrictions are strictly observed, however I cannot provide a nut-free environment.
