Hello, I’m Daisy Atkinson, I’m 22 years old and I graduated from Drama School in May where I have been for the past 4 years. Since moving home to Herefordshire in August, I began nannying a 6 month old baby who is now 1. I have had the most perfect experience nannying for this family, I currently do 2 days a week, Wednesday and Thursday, 8am to 6pm and I have done multiple over night stays at their house doing a full routine with the baby whilst also caring for the family dog. I have an amazing relationship with the family and I wish to continue with them but my hours are going down and they only require me 2 days a week meaning I have Monday, Tuesday, Friday free to work with the opportunity for weekends free. My current nannying job has only strengthened my belief in my skills within childcare, and the experience I have had with the family has truly changed my life and I only wish to continue as I feel this is where my strength lies. My experience within the performing arts industry gives me an edge over other candidates as I have high energy and I’m always willing to have fun as well as having a strong sense of discipline from the 4 years I spent at my Drama School. It’s a difficult career to follow and you have to work your absolute hardest everyday and the lessons and values I learnt there have shaped me into a kind, patient, well rounded individual with a strong work ethic and a zest for life. If references are required from my current job then please let me know as I would be more than happy to pass one on. I also passed my driving test this month and have a car I am comfortable driving in.
My Experience
I have taught young children ballet and jazz on weekends for multiple years, ages ranging from 3 to 7/8 years old, I was also paid to teach my own after school dance club with children aged 6 to 11 years old. I have babysat since I was 15 for multiple families also including my own cousins, ranging from when they were 1 year old to 11 years old and I was with a London Nannying Agency before I graduated and moved home to Hereford where I have worked with a baby for 7 months.
My Qualifications
I am not qualified in childcare as I have been completing my degree in Performing Arts for 4 years, but I have a range of experience and a true passion for working with children. I am also DBS checked.
My Availability
I am currently available all day Monday, Tuesday & Friday & possibly weekends.
