My Experience

Previous Au Pair Work
I’ve previously worked as an au pair in London when I was 19 years old, which to me was a very rewarding and wonderful experience. The family was absolutely amazing and I was mainly in charge of a 10-year-old girl. My main tasks involved taking the girl to-and-from school, homework/school activity support, cooking and some light housework, as well as taking the girl to activities, and looking after her and providing support in general. I also supported their 15-year-old in terms of cooking and checking in (when/if she needed me).
This is an experience that has stayed with me and impacted my life in a very positive way.

Additional Background & Skills
And my background as a personal assistant has honed my organizational and attentive skills, making me very attuned to the needs of others and different situations, which I believe are invaluable when caring for children. I think it’s important to really see and hear people and keep a mindful approach to the individual's specific needs when it comes to caring for them.

Through these previous roles, I have also developed a keen eye for detail, excellent time management abilities, and the capacity to adapt to different circumstances. These qualities enable me to maintain a structured yet flexible environment where children can feel safe, cared for and seen.

One of my greatest strengths is my creativity, which I believe can foster a stimulating and engaging environment for children. I enjoy coming up with imaginative and educational activities that promote learning through play (or just to play). Whether it's crafting, storytelling, or exploring nature, I love to create experiences that inspire curiosity and growth.

I understand that being a nanny requires a high level of responsibility, trustworthiness, and adaptability. And I’m committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment. I am also open to learning and implementing any specific routines or guidelines you have for your family.

My Qualifications

I have no formal qualifications as a caregiver but I've had experience in the past looking after children, and I am a very caring, nurturing and responsible person.

My Availability

I’m looking for a family who is in need of someone to stay with them (live-in nanny) for 1 - 1 ½ years, and I’m available to start at any time from the 15th of August 2023.

My Fees

• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (net)
