About Me
I have tutored pupils in English - particularly for 11+ and enjoy helping them to make progress and increase in cofidence - and follow-up after transition to secondary school. My career has been largely working with Europe on policy topics and using my language skills, with additional freelance activity in tutoring, editing, proof-reading and translating. In my spare time I enjoy Nordic walking with friends, arts and cinema, visiting National Trust properties and finding ways to use foraged fruit from country walks!
My Experience
I am experienced in tutoring children for 11+ English and follow-up English in secondary school, most often where parents are not native speakers of English.
I also have some experience in tutoring French to GCSE and A/S level.
My Qualifications
Deegree in French with linguistics, Chartered Institute of Linguists Diploma in Translation (French to English), Legal studies diploma from Birkbeck College, General French legal diploma from Paris Chamber of Commerce, TESOL certificate.
My Availability
Currently, I am available between Monday and Friday. I am a car driver but when I work in the evenings, I prefer to use public transport.

- Babysitting from £9.50 per hour
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
Tutoring fees vary according to teaching requirements and locality. I am happy to babysit locally and fees would increase if they include help with homework and also if a late return means taxi is required to return home.
