My Summary

My Experience

I have worked in childcare for more than 30 years. I have worked first as a live in nanny in London and surrounding counties, followed by live out nannying positions for 4 different families. I went on to become an assistant nursery manager of a baby day-care unit within a nursery near Henley on Thames. Before and after having a family of 3 boys, I have had experience of working in a preparatory school, along with working in a preschool local to Bath.
I have looked after babies from 2 hours old and children of all ages up to secondary school age. I have acted as both a nanny and nanny/ housekeeper looking after pets, catering for children’s and parent’s meals and been a part of many larger households, working with cleaners and gardeners. In 2014 I gained my Forest School Leaders Level 3 Advanced Award, after which I led Forest School activities to groups of up to 20 children as part of my job as a Preschool Early Years practitioner. Following on from this I trained as a childminder and have led a successful childminding business for many years, whilst our children were younger.

My Qualifications

I studied a NNEB at Ware College, Hertfordshire and a Level 3 Advanced Forest School Leaders Award at Bridgwater College. I have attended numerous training courses during my employment as a preschool practitioner, including Makaton, Singing, SEN and First Aid courses.

My Availability

I am available for work Mon - Fri and can be flexible on days worked during the week and could be available for some baby-sitting duties on one evening a week.

My Fees
