About Me
I am a registered childminder located on the outskirts of Biggar, in a peaceful countryside estate. I am married and have 3 lovely children! My setting offers large spacious play space indoors and out. I have a large secure garden and am very fortunate to live in such an idyllic location where we can enjoy woodland walks enjoying lots of outdoor play. I am very caring and offer a home from home service that can cater for the specific needs of your child. I am very flexible and can offer pick ups/drop offs. As my children attend school in Biggar, i am more than happy to do pick ups from Biggar. Please do not hesitate to ask!
My Experience
I have 3 children of my own and worked with children for 16 years. I became a childminder in 2003 when my son was 2 years old. This is the most rewarding job in the world ever! I have welcomed children into my home over the years and they soon become part of the family! The hardest part for me is when the children have to move on to go to school. You become so attached to them and build wonderful friendships that it is as hard as seeing one of your own children go off to school! I support the children through the different stages of development and provide them with the toys and resources that allow them to progress and learn through play. The majority of the children who come into my care have started as babies and it is lovely to watch them progress through the different stages of development and flourish into confident individuals.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.40 per hour
I charge per hr, but a contract of a minimum of 6 hrs applies at my setting. If a child attends nursery I am happy to drop off/pick up but the same terms apply where you would pay for 6hrs care even if your child is only attending for say 4 hrs. This is because I would be unable to find another child to fill the space for a couple of hrs, while your child attends nursery. It also secures your childcare space and if I am required to pick up/drop off then I am still responsible for the care of your child while they attend another setting, so covers labour costs.
