I'm patient, caring, friendly and flexible. I trained as a dancer and dance teacher but working freelance means I have spare time for Nannying or Babysitting. I like to see children learning and happy.
My Experience
After graduating in 2010, I worked as a Nanny for a year looking after a brother and sister 6 and 8 years old, and a little boy age 2. This included homework help, violin practise and taking the children to their activities. Following this, I have been teaching children's ballet classes for the past 12 years for children age 18 months-18 years. I therefore have lots of experience settling children into class, engaging them on their level and generally working with children. I have a DBS and regularly help in the creche at my church as well as babysitting for families in the church. I have 7 nieces and nephews (age 9 months-5 years) and often look after them and take them out on trips. I also love pets!

My Availability
I'm generally available in the mornings, daytimes and after school (Tues, Weds, Thurs). Mondays and Fridays I teach classes in the term time, but available in school holidays. Happy to do weekend babysitting if I don't have a dance job booked.

Rosy has helped us with our two little boys (age 5 and 2) before school for the last 2 terms. She has been absolutely wonderful with them both. Her timekeeping has been faultless, she is patient and kind but firm when needed. She understands how to gently steer the boys towards what they need to be doing to get ready in the mornings and our boys have fallen in love with her. Our eldest has even found in her someone he could confide and talk about things that might have been bothering him, and someone he could play and imagine with when he has wanted to go on imaginary adventures. We are so sorry that her circumstances mean that she has to say goodbye to our family, but we wish her every success and happiness for the future.
