I’m a registered Childminder based in Witham. I offer flexible childcare to families with children 3 months - 12 years.
My setting is a cosy home-from-home environment, fully equipped to support the care and learning needs of all children.
I have small groups of children at a time to allow close supervision and interaction to take place .
We focus greatly on independence, school readiness and learning through play.
We also loosely follow an Montessori approach to play & learning.

Qualifications include ?

- Level 3 award in preparing to work in home-based childcare

My Experience
Over ten years of experience working in early years settings and working with SEN. I have two children of my own so I am fully experienced with caring for newborns. I have also worked at Montessori nurseries and will loosely implement some Montessori approaches within the play and learning opportunities I provide.
My Qualifications
Some of my qualifications include ;
- Level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education
- Level 3 award in preparing to work in home-based childcare
- Paediatric first aid
- Safeguarding
- Food hygiene
- Level 2 award - Understanding behavior that challenges
I also keep my knowledge up to date through regular online training and webinars.
I am currently attending a level three course in supporting children with using AAC communication methods.
My Availability
I can offer flexible contracts for parents 7:30am - 5:30pm Mondays and Tuesdays. Additional weekday mornings, weekends and evenings may also be available subject to request. I also offer wrap around care for school children attending Howbridge Infants and Junior school.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Childminding from £5.75 per hour
I charge £5.75 there will also be a small fee for lunch ( £1.50) and tea (£2.50) if parent require these. Breakfast, drinks and afternoon snacks will be provided free of charge.
