About Me
I would am quite calm and easy going. I’ve been told by friends and family that I am naturally patient and Always see the kind in others. In my free time I like doing activities like athletics which I’ve personally done for the last 5 years and also like going gym as I’m am quite sporty and into sprinting . I like to write poems occasionally. And I feel like I am personally very good at taking criticism due to having a calm nature meaning I always learning and happy to take feedback and learn from mistakes making me a better version of myself.
My Experience
I have experience working in a Montessori nursery with kids aged 2/3 I worked as an unqualified nursery nurse and carried out fun daily interactive task with the kids. Such as singing songs doing focus activities / puzzles , counting and reading with them and many more alongside changing their nappies
assisting in potty training and mealtime and helping them sleep for nap time . I’d also occasionally work with babies from ages 6 months + if staff numbers were short so have experience working with the babies too . Additionally prior to this job I done volunteering in my local church as a Sunday school teacher working with kids aged 4/5 on Sunday’s and I also am currently undergoing a Bsc Hons Working with children and young people degree at university which interrelates as I found most of my first semesters studying the development of children and the theories behind it . I also occasionally baby sit my 1 year old niece which I’ve been doing since she was new born every now and then on the weekends so feel comfortable enough with my experience with working with children.
My Qualifications
I was unqualified nursery nurse in my previous job however, I have my English and maths GCSE’s and got Distinction in studying health and social care (Level3) at college. I also have safeguarding training experience from an online course I completed . And once I finish my degree I attain to achieve a First Bsc Hons In Social Pedagogy ( the course I’m currently studying)
