About Me
I currently live with my parents and sister at our home in Essex. I’m half Greek Cypriot and half English, so I grew up going to Cyprus a lot. I love learning about other cultures, whether that’s through my friends and their families, film, or travelling. My hobbies and interests include cooking, baking, gymnastics, salsa dancing, art, and music. I consider myself to be outgoing, love nature and the outdoors, and always keen to try new skills and activities. I recently started more dance classes, kicking boxing, and tried Muay Thai when I went to
Thailand last year.
My Experience
I recently decided to make the shift from wedding coordinator to training to become a data engineer. Since finishing my A levels, I have worked with children of all ages on and off throughout the years. In total, I have had approximately 6 years of supply teaching experience in a variety of schools, e.g. PRU schools, primary and secondary schools, along with working in nurseries and pre-schools, both through an agency. I have also had experience running a youth group for two years and supported my friend, who is a single mum of 4, throughout the past several years, 2 of whom are my goddaughters, who are 9 and 18 months.
I like being able to fill children's days with joy and excitement, and help them make the most of being a kid! I also love seeing them complete certain milestones, no matter how big or small, and being able to be a part of their development and growth is super rewarding to me. After all, it takes a village to raise a child, and raising the next generations is such an important job. Running the youth group and working in secondary schools means that I can give guidance to teenagers and older children, as this can be a very tricky time knowing how to navigate life at those ages.
My Qualifications
I have A levels in Spanish, French and Art, as well as an IB in Maths Studies and Business. Growing up I played 3 instruments, piano (grade 5), saxophone and drums.
My Availability
Being with an agency allows me to choose my working days (although I always book work for Monday to Friday). This means I don’t work during the school half terms and am looking for work mainly during these times. I am happy to discuss working during the school terms on a flexible basis, whether this be weekends or some evenings. I am currently doing a coding course which I am able to do at my own pace, however will still need to allow time for this through the week.

Kat was great during the holidays. My son had lots of fun with her. They bonded really well as she’s so lovely & bubbly. Would definitely recommend her to anyone. So if you’re looking for a babysitter, she’s your girl ! 😊
