About Me

My name is Mouna, a Nanny/Child development facilitator (former Teaching Assistant in 3 outstanding schools in Westminster and Chelsea). I live in Sidmouth, East Devon. I am a Mother of two wonderful Daughters, 18 and 21 years old. I am a very kind, honest, caring and nurturing person, highly organised, trustworthy and responsible. I work to the best of my ability to carry out my duties to the expected standards, as I love my job and the children I care for.
As my attached resume shows, I have worked extensively with children aged 3 to 8 years old, in a school setting, therefore very knowledgeable in children development and take safeguarding very seriously. As a Nanny, I have also looked after children: newborn, toddlers and up to 10 years old, full time, including weekends and holidays, as well as proxy parenting. I am trained and certified as a Paediatric First Aider and DBS checked.
With over 15 years working and caring for children of different ages, I have gained expertise in keeping them engaged with entertaining activities, fun outings, nature walks, reading, singing, dancing, exploring… I am as well very knowledgeable in the other aspects of childcare such as supporting with their homework (professional trainings in Phonics Read Write Inc. and Numicon numeracy program), taking care of their dietary needs, providing First Aid if needed. At last but not least I am committed to setting a good role model with high morals and proper manners to the children I care for.

In addition to professional experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation. My written and spoken english are excellent and I speak fluently 2 other main European languages (French and Spanish). I am passionate about well-being and self-development, I am a qualified Yoga Teacher and have a Master's Degree in Metaphysical Studies and currently studying to be a Craniosacral Therapist.
