About Me
I am 25 Years old, a Mum to one and care for my nephew who lives with me. I finished my degree in English and Creative writing in 2019 with 2:1. I am very passionate about reading and helping children and young people engage with reading.
Offering KS3 and GCSE tutoring in English Language, English Literature and reading progress.
Can offer KS1 and 2 but will be English specific and reading based learning. I am also trained in phonics so can support children struggling with the phonetic alphabet and reading/decoding words.
My Experience
4 years experience as a Secondary School English Teacher with 1 years experience as Lead Teacher of English.
Can teach any language and literature exam boards in England.
Extensive knowledge and experience with SEND and can support students with reading as well as progress in English
My Qualifications
BA in English and creative writing 2:1
Alevel English, philosophy and ethics and photography (all grade B)
13 GCSEs including (B in English Language, A* in English Literature, B in maths)
My Availability
Tues-Fri after 5pm
Wednesday not later than 6
Any day virtual from 4.30 onwards.
Can work during school hours but have a baby, so would need to bring her along.
