My Experience
I have experienced working at the nursery I was studying my level 3 in childcare. I was able to work with all the different ages allowing me to become versatile with children ranging from ages of 0-4. Whilst being in the setting I was able to form relationships with parents and learnt to work beside them and alongside other professionals. I had key children and used iPads and laptops to complete assessments and observations on the children. In my role I planned and completed activities with the children the activities being conducted to the child’s needs. By completing these sorts of things with the children I would be able to get to know them better and give them next steps to work. I have also I worked for friends and family babysitting. From babysitting I have learnt how to take care children with different ranges of activities and I have also had the chance to work with a variety of different aged children from 2-15. It’s also helped me understand the knowledge of working with children. I had the responsibility to watch more than one child at a time and being able to cook, feed and clean for them. From babysitting I have learnt to follow the individual child/ family’s routines e.g. bed time
