My name is Alice, and I have just moved from Australia to Glasgow in December 2023! I am excited to start working within families within the Glasgow region and build strong relationships.
My Experience
I have worked as an ad hoc babysitter and a part-time nanny for four years. Throughout that time I formed relationships with both the children and their families/support networks. After working within the childcare sphere I specialised in disability care, working as a support worker. I cared for children that had many different lived experiences, including autism, development delays and OCD. I have a passion for facilitating children's independence, creativity and growth all while having fun!
My Qualifications
I have over 8 years experience of first aid, training in epilepsy care, a qualification in the Positive Approaches to Behaviour Support: Disability Support Module delivered by the Cerebral Palsy Alliance, a full driver's license and car, COVID-19 vaccination and the Australian equivalent of a Satisfactory Disclosure Scotland check and current PVG scheme ID number which I can supply upon request.
My Availability
I am available any times outside of Monday, Wednesday & Fridays after 7pm (Football training) and Thursdays after 6pm (rub club)! I am happy to do mornings and afternoons, and I have a car.
