Hi I’m 21 years old and have been working in childcare for 5 years, I love seeing children grow and develop into young humans. I’m a fun bubbly person who is always looking for new engaging things to do. I have two dogs and have grown up around animals my whole life so I’m fully comfortable around them.

SUNNYFIELDS DAY NURSERY
march 2021 to February 2023
I was an unqualified nursery practitioner. I worked Monday to Friday. I had a group of 8 key children and was based in the toddler room with ages 2-3. I would do general daily care where I would provided the children with there need such as changing their nappy’s. Provide them with engaging activities that was set to help them reach there next step. I filled out two year checks for parents to take to their two year check up and completed reports of the children 2 times a year. I helped prepare meals mainly snack and give them to the children making sure all their dietary needs was met. I gave medication when needed this was mainly call after we had been given parental consent. We done fun days in the summer which I would attend and help with as I enjoyed seeing a smile on the children’s faces as this was so different to just coming to nursery.
Fennies Nursery.
I’m currently a qualified level 2 practitioner. I have 9 key children again working closely with them. Taking them to do small group activities both indoors and outside when the weather is nicer we learn about our environment looking for different insects and learning about them. We do sensory play learning different textures and much much more. Again basic needs of the children.
