About Me

I am a mother of two wonderful teenagers. I love spending time with my family. Swimming, paddle boarding and long walks at the beach.
I love being outdoors and enjoy being in nature.

My Experience

I have worked in early years for the past 15 years, in different capacities. I have been an early years practitioner, a lead and a manager. All roles I enjoyed and the highlight has always been building relationships with the children and their families.

I am looking to use these transferable skills to become a nanny and offer my support to young working families in the local area.

I have many parents that I am still in touch with from my settings that are happy to send references if required.

My Qualifications

I have an SVQ in Children and Young People,
I am also due to graduate from the University of Aberdeen with my BA in Childhood Practice in June.

As well as my qualifications in Early Years, I have certificates in Outdoor Education including Fire Safety, Bush Craft and Tool Use, Den Building.

I was also part of a Nationally funded think tank dedicated to the exploration of outdoor learning. We were fortunate to be sent to Spain to learn first hand the benefits of outdoor education for all children in a fully immersive experience.

I have been first aid trained as a first responder with BASP and have epi pen training included.

I have attended allergy awareness training.

My Availability

I am available before and after school as well as during the days.

I have availability from the second week in April.

I am happy to work with children of all ages.
