Hi I'm Charlotte, I have a passion for working with children and have over 12 years experience in child care. I have a love for supporting children to understand and explore their emotions.
I have 2 dogs of my own who I love dearly and when not working you'll find me walking or cuddled up with them on the sofa.
I love to read and hope to inspire young ones to have the same passion.
I'm currently studying for a degree in childhood and youth studies through the open university.
My Experience
I have worked in various childcare settings including nurseries and schools. While working in a school I have been formally trained by an educational psychologist to deliver the ELSA program to students. This helps students who may struggle understanding their emotions or having a tough time coping with friendships. I have a passion to help children learn new emotional regulation skills. I love to include sensory exploration activities in children's daily life I feel multi sensory play is such an important part of children's development.
My Qualifications
I have a level 2 nvq in childcare.
I also have an up to date first-aid training
I will be working alongside studying for my degree.
My Availability
My availability is between 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday with the possibility to work extra if needed.
