My name is Megan, I am 20 years old and I am a fun, energetic person. I enjoy baking, reading, playing games as well as lots of other things. I am active, I go to the gym a lot and I enjoy being outside and exploring. I also enjoy spending time with my nephew who is 8. I take him to all sorts of places, such as farms, the cinema, play centres. As well as this I also play with him a lot at home too, playing football with him, board games and watching movies with him. I believe I am very chatty, kind, caring and empathetic. I am a non smoker, I have a drivers license and my own car and I am okay with animals.
My Experience
I currently work in a school for children with special educational needs, therefore I do have experience in caring for children on a day to day basis. As well as that, I also live with my nephew who is 8 and my niece who is a newborn so I am very experienced when it comes to caring for children. I do finish work at 4:30, so I would be able to look after children after school or on the weekends. I also do have an enhanced DBS check which I would be happy to show to parents beforehand. I can do cooking, cleaning, playing, homework, bedtime as well as anything else that would be needed.
My Qualifications
I have grades 4-5 in my GCSEs, which were English language and literature, maths, science, food technology, health and social care, geography, I also have one A-level and 2 B-tech. I received a C for my English Language A-Level. I also received a merit for my applied science B-tech and a distinction for my health and social care B-tech. I have trained in first aid before although not in recent years. I do also have a DBS check.
My Availability
Because I work full time at a school, I would only be able to work evenings after 4:30. But I can do weekends and school holidays.
