About Me
My name is Ella, I am a local student at University completing a BA (Hons) in Childhood Studies. I am of a nurturing and sweet nature and looking for a suitable childcare role while i am studying.
In my time in childcare, I have noticed that children are naturally drawn to me and warm to me quickly. I am very patient and kind, I believe these are essential qualities in childcare everyday with children is different and things sometimes do not go to plan. I adapt easily and quickly in these situations to keep the flow of the day going and my children happy and engaged in learning and play. I understand that every child is different and I evaluate my approach in my work on a one-to-one basis to maximise every child's potential. Each child is treated with empathy and understanding as I have vast knowledge from my university studies about the inner workings of their minds and their development, they are going through so many changes and learning all the time and while it is amazing and fascinating, it is a lot for our little friends! So we work together with gentleness, when things get too much to understand our big feelings and learn from them and the proper techniques to calm ourselves and use our words to tell our adults what it is we need from them to feel better and advocate for ourselves.
My Experience
I have over four years of experience working in childcare settings ; privately owned, primary schools, and Montessori nurseries. Each has taught me many skills and practices and I have learned these from incredible practitioners who have been in their settings for many years and are truly wonderful women.

My Availability
As a student, I have great flexibility and can work around you as a family. As I finish for the summer I can be full-time until my studies begin again in October, but even then I have good availability.

My fees align with the quality of care your little one will receive but also at a reduced rate as I am still in the early years of my career and building up my profile and references.
