About Me
I am a mum to my 18 month old little boy and being his mum is my favourite job of all. I finished university alongside him whilst he was a newborn and I am planning to go back in September where I will be training to be a teacher. I have always loved children, wanting a massive family of my own and to work with them too is a big purpose in my life. I currently work in retail four days a week but I am wanting to swap some of my days to work within childcare/ babysitting as this is where my passion is.
My Experience
I am a mum to my 18 month old and am firsthand aware of the needs of caring for a newborn baby to a toddler. I frequently take my son each week to play groups/ sensory classes and always make sure we do something on my days off even if it’s just to the park. I understand how to care for smaller babies and would love the opportunity to do this again.
I also babysit my two and a half year old nephew once a week from 6:45am until 7pm. I feed him breakfast, lunch and dinner, take him out for the day and bath and get him ready for bed before he is collected.
My Qualifications
I have 7 GCSE’s, A-Levels and a BA Hons in Media. I have applied to study for my PGCE and become a teacher in September. I am prepared to take out any necessary qualifications if a parent needs be within childcare.
