About Me
My name is Anne and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Henlow, Bedfordshire. I live with my husband and four children - three boys aged seven, five and two and a girl aged four. With a background in SEN support, and now being a Mum to my own children, I understand how important it is to find a childminder who you can trust and feel comfortable with. I work with parents to ensure children feel comfortable, happy and content in my care.
I provide a welcoming, warm and secure home from home setting where children from three months upwards can develop, grow and learn. I have a wide range of toys and ensure that there is regular opportunities to access arts and crafts, messy play, garden play, music, singing and sensory play. I have space upstairs for travel cots for children who need to nap in peace. We head out of the house as much as possible and in all weathers! We also go to local groups, have play dates, visit parks and farms, use the library and lots of other local places. I believe in giving children a wealth of different experiences which aids building those vital foundation's during their most formative years.
My Experience
I knew that I wanted to work with children from a young age. After finishing school I pursued my passion of performing arts and provided 1:1 and group tuition in musical theatre to children aged 5 to 16 years. I also worked for a company who provided children's entertainment. Alongside this I have offered respite care to families of children with additional needs and worked in schools supporting children with SEN. I also have a keen interest in speech and language and aim to pursue this further alongside childminding.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My charges are currently...
£7.00 an hour between 8am and 5pm.
Drinks and small snacks throughout the day are included.
