About Me
I am offering summer nannying/babysitting from June to late September. I am Montessori trained and speak Spanish, with 3 years of childcare experience. I have worked with babies as young as 5 months to pre-school. In addition, I did volunteer work in Spain where I lived with a family and assisted in the Primary school classroom. Outside of working with young people, I am studying for a degree in Modern Languages and Cultures (Spanish and French), I am a qualified yoga instructor, volunteer at a men's mental health charity, enjoy hiking, spending time with my partner, and our wonderful friends and generally keeping active. I love drinking lots of cups of tea!
My Experience
1.5 years in a Montessori setting, where I was based in the baby room and infant community. I also gained my 0-3 Montessori assistant qualification.
3 months volunteer work in a Montessori International School in Sevilla, where I also spent time in the local Waldorf school. I also looked after two boys ages 6 & 7, whom I lived with.
Upon returning to the UK, I went into mainstream settings, working with an agency until I eventually settled into a Bright Horizons pre-school.
I quit that role and volunteered at a local grass roots charity, then travelled to Ecuador where I gained a 200hr yoga instructor qualification and took Spanish lessons for 4 hours a day, eventually deciding I would like to pursue a degree in Modern Languages.
