About Me
Hi my names Rachel, I am a mum to 2 children age 10 and 6.
I am currently at University training to become a midwife and I would like to offer my services as a baby sitter to help a earn a bit extra. (Being a mature student comes with a few financial difficulties!)
Before making the decision to train as a midwife I worked many years in childcare, including as a nursery nurse, a nanny and abroad in kids holiday clubs.
Whilst working in childcare care I kept up to date with first aid training and currently as part of my course I have practiced first aid including neonatal resus.
I enjoy caring for children and like playing games, making up stories, being creative and of course drinking lots of pretend cups of tea!
I can not guarantee to be available all of the time as my course is split into theory blocks and placements where I do a variety of shifts Including nights and weekends. I am happy to be contacted and if I am free i will be happy to help. As my children are at school during the week I may also be available sometimes from 9.30 till 2.30 on week days.
I am happy to provide references if needed.
