Hello, my name is Helen and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Holmer Green, with a "Good" grading and over 10 years childminding experience.
I would like to provide you with a friendly, flexible childcare service in a warm and welcoming home environment.
I have two girls of my own aged 11 and 13
We have a clean, tidy, and smoke free home.
My Experience
We get outside every day, and we currently enjoy outdoor play either in our large back garden, or on the village common, feeding the ducks or at the swings and park Regular indoor activities would include art and craft, music, song and rhyme, messy play, cooking, as well as a host of imaginative play and games.
All activities are planned to meet the Early Years Foundation Stage, as well as the needs of each child.
My Qualifications
- OFSTED registered "GOOD" grading received November 2012
- CACHE - Understand how to set up a home based childcare service
- DBS checked (formally CRB)
- Paediatric first aid in childcare
- Basic Food Hygiene and level 2 food hygiene Certificates
- Smile Award Plus Oral Health Awareness and Nutrition program
- Member of the PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare in the Early Years) which means I work towards the PACEY quality standards, including safety, nutrition, and equal opportunities
-NVQ Level 3 diploma in childcare
- Level 3 Forest School leader at Red Kite Forest School
- I am also registered for overnight care
-I provide 3 hour holiday forest school sessions during non term time

My 3 year old daughter loves the time she spends with Helen and the other children in her care. Her setting is lovely and homely and my daughter has lots of fun learning and playing there.
Overall
Helen came to babysit my son my last, at first my son was very nervous but she soon got him chatting and playing and given her the tour of the house. She was more than happy to put my son to bed when i left to go out. She asked if any things needs to be done before bed i.e bath, teeth etc.
Helen is a great babysitter and I will be using her again.
If I could I would give her more than more than Good (1), I would say she was excellent
