About Me

I am currently limited to working hours, as have a little one under 1, and a part time job.
Having worked in childcare, complex needs and learning disabilities for over 15 years, I am energetic and enthusiastic about my work,.I have both my level 2 and 3 nvq in child care and early years qualification and also a level 3 in Health and Social Care.I have worked in various childcare settings from nurseries, 1:1 complex needs, nanny work, Children's Hospices, special needs schools, community care and on wards. Iv had the role of a nurseries setting SenCo and behaviour manager and Up until the Last year I worked there I was promoted as the nursery coordinator. My current part time role is at St Elizabeth’s hospice, working for ‘Zest services’ offering respite and care to young adults with life limiting illnesses.
My job before that was at United Response As a healthcare assistant in an assisted living house for deaf adults with disabilities. I have passed level 1 and 2 British Sign Language course
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, walking my dog, looking after my many animals, crocheting, arts and crafts and cooking. I used to be on a ‘signing choir’ in which I would travel around local churches to sign for people with hearing difficulties.
