About Me
Hi my name is Amanda, I am 31 years old and I live in Luton. I am a nanny with my own children aged 6 and 4 and I am looking for a part time nannying position. I have been working as a nanny for over 13 years, I am currently doing a school pick up for a family I have been with for 6 years but I am hoping to find something in the day time now my boys are at school and nursery. I previously worked for a family who I stayed with for 4 years until their youngest started school and another family who I worked with for just over 3 years before leaving to have my eldest boy. Previous to nannying I worked in a private day nursery as a Senior based in the baby room however I have looked after children ranging from birth- 16 years. I am a friendly, polite and punctual person. I enjoy taking children out to the zoo, farms, parks and soft play as well as doing lots of messy activities and baking in the home. I have a social network of nannies around me and we like to meet up so the children can play together.
I am hoping to find the perfect position to work around my own children. I am Ofsted registered, I have a clean DBS certificate, first aid training and a full UK driving license.
My Experience
I have been working as a sole charge nanny for three families over the past 13 years, looking after children aged between birth and 16 years. Previous to this I worked in a private day nursery based in the baby room, however have also worked with older children throughout the nursery.
I completed my CACHE level 2 in children's play, learning and development and then progressed onto my BTEC level 3 National diploma in children's care, learning and development.
