I am a Registered Childminder and Term Time I work Tuesday to Friday.
I am available in the Sch holidays on Tues,Weds,Thurs, Fri.

My 2 girls are all grown up and I've been registered as a Childminder for the past 15 years.
Prior to my Registration I worked in Administration and my children were in the care of a wonderful Childminder (with whom I am still in touch, 40 odd years later)!
I have 8 wonderful Grandchildren who keep me busy on the weekends !
I hold a current First Aid certificate, Public Liability Insurance and Safeguarding training is up to date.
My regularly serviced car has an up to date MOT and Full Comprehensive insurance (which specifically covers Childminding duties).

My Experience
Since I registered as a Childminder, when I lived in Surrey, I had been taking care of a brother and sister; I had looked after them since they were 4 and 2ys.
I had been giving them a nutritious breakfast, and taken them to and from Nursery and Schools. I provided full time care during the School holidays.
I have experience of caring for an Autistic child.
I have experience of caring for an Asthmatic child.
I have experience of babysitting a 5yr old, who was suffering from a debilitating 'temporary' illness, which thankfully he fully recovered from. I have a reference from his parents and am still in touch with the family.
I have a wealth of experience of childcare (my eldest daughter is 40+)!
When my youngest daughter was born, my Niece was 12 weeks old and I looked after her until my little one began Nursery - it was like having twins and was one of the happiest and most enjoyable times in my career...

Karen is a professional and caring child-minder who looked after my daughter from 25 months old till 3 years old. In this time Karen was very supportive with my family life and work balance offering high quality childcare experiences for my child. Karen had a personal and professional approach towards caring for my daughter, in my experience this was demonstrated through a range of activities from outdoor trips to the park, indoor play activities and holiday trips to LEGOLAND, my daughter loved going to Karen’s. And also, weekly routine visits to the local playgroups and children centres in the local area to help develop my daughter’s social skills, making friends and developing her creative skills.
My child has grown into a confident and clever little girl with the guidance and safe environment provided by Karen’s care and home.
Daily dairies and pictures were made available, and communication between Karen and myself was excellent, I felt confident that my child was safe and loved in Karen’s care.
My child has now progressed into pre-school and talks of Karen lovingly.
I would recommend Karen to my family, friends and anyone who is looking for a loving and caring, professional person/environment with exceptional child care skills.
