About Me
Welcome to Bright Owls Childminding. My name is Caroline (47) and I am an Ofsted graded 'Good' childminder based in Heaton Chapel, Stockport. I have two lovely boys who are aged 13 and 17 and work together with my husband, Tony.
Having previously worked full-time myself and used various childminders, I am very aware of the level of care parents expect and feel that this gives me a solid grounding on how I want to be as a childminder.
I have a playroom dedicated to childminding which is equipped with all sorts of things for your children to interact with.
I also have a large garden so there is plenty of room for outdoor activities.
I am located just off the A6 and am very close to Heaton Chapel train station.
My Experience
I have two children of my own and I have also completed a PGCE primary, the training for which has given me a great insight into how children learn and also how children progress through the EYFS and up into Key Stage 1.
I work together with my husband which is great for the children as we have a family based setting. The kids love him!
My Qualifications
I have completed a childminding course which is accredited by the Professional Association for Childminding and Early Years (PACEY) and am registered with Ofsted.
I also hold a first aid qualification which specialises in paediatric first aid. My husband also has this.
I have an enhanced DBS check, as does my husband.

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.29 per hour
Full day (07:30 - 18:00) = £45 includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Half day (07:30-13:00/13:00-18:00) = £22.

Caroline and Tony provide an excellent service. They have cared for my daughter form the age of 9 months and she loves her time at their house. She is treated like one of the family and is always very happy to stroll in, in the mornings. Caroline and Tony provide a range of stimulating activities, both in their well appointed playroom and large gardens. I can't recommend them highly enough!
