About Me
Hello, my name is Katie, I'm a mother to two boys, In a small village called Blackford.
I have an SVQ level 3 qualification in children's, learning and development. I am a registered childminder.
With over 13 years experience working in childcare I am proud to be able to offer a warm welcoming home learning environment for all ages. I pride myself in my arty skills, providing lots of sensory, messy play and craft activities. I have a large enclosed back garden which includes a trampoline, swings, tree house, mud kitchen, slides, sandpit and lots of endless open learning opportunities. We spend alot of time outdoors and enjoy exploring our local environment.
Indoors the children have free range to explore the down stairs which includes kitchen/dinning/playroom, lounge with more play space and quiet space and a bathroom.
I offer care from 8am to 5:30pm for children ages 0-12 years. School drop off and pick up is for Blackford Primary only.
My Experience
Over the past thirteen years I have worked in many different childcare settings, including nurseries, creches, holidays clubs (abroad), playgroups and a live in nanny. I also ran a sensory and messy play business.
My Qualifications
I have an SVQ level three qualification in children's care learning and development.
