About Me
I have been a childminder for 21 years and before that was a Primary School Teacher for 14 years. I moved to The Oakalls five years ago and offer before and after school care from Finstall First School. I have two grown up daughters and I live with my husband and our cockerpoo.
My Experience
I was a primary school teacher for 14 years, a job I loved, I continued teaching when I had my first child, employing the services of a childminder and then left teaching and trained and registered as a childminder when I had my second child. I have therefore seen childminding from a parent's point of view and from a childminder's, too. I have now been childminding for 20 years and love working with all age ranges, caring for them and working together with parents in supporting them in their all round development.
With 34 years experience of working with children I have a wealth of resources and many references for prospective parents to see.
My Qualifications
Post Graduate Certificate of Education - Primary (teaching qualification)
NVQ3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development (childcare qualification)
Level 2 Paediatric First Aid Certificate
Designated Safeguarding Lead Certificate

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.25 per hour
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
£12.50 per before or after school session for up to 2 hours, or £23.00 per day if attending both before and after school sessions. Additional hours charged at £6.25 per hour. Includes breakfast before school and healthy range of snacks after school.
