About Me

Hello I am currently on the search looking for a new family for nanny work or swim teaching over the next few months on a temp basis or something longer term.

I am also a qualified swimming teacher with over 16 years experience and have expertise in working with adults and children that can be nervous in the water, additional support needs, challenging behaviour, encouraging enjoyment, fun, skills, techniques and most importantly how to be safe at all times, from baby swimming up to adults of all needs and abilities from beginner to advanced levels on the ASA framework including Rookie Lifeguard.

I have over 16 years of professional childcare experience, The starting point in my experience was training in a KidsUnlimited nursery which was awarded as a "outstanding nursery" on the Ofsted report, Their ethos was to have a more natural open approach nursery setting along with learning the EYFS Framework, giving me the wide experience and knowledge of children 0-5 and gaining my NVQ in childcare.

I have worked as a Nanny in London for over 14 years with various families, I have an excellent record as a caring, trustworthy, productive employee.

I create age appropriate, stimulating activities for each child, ensuring a safe environment at all times,

I have a calm professional manner that is vigilant in my surroundings and the children's safety is paramount at all times in the home and across all activities we do outside and on day trips.

I bring energy and positivity to my role and take great pleasure in seeing the progression of the children. I find working as a nanny great fun and incredibly rewarding. I am creative in my ideas as to how to support individual development, this is an area parents have expressed great gratitude in the work I do. I am a hands on individual, no task is too great and I am confident in using my own initiative.

I am flexible and comfortable working alongside parents to support their vision for their children.

I am looking for a position with a family that is open to working together and use my expertise in a positive way to help you and your family strive.

As a person who is involved in many different activities, I have developed excellent organisational skills to plan my time effectively as well as handle a number of activities simultaneously with multiple children at once.

My diverse experience at work and in extracurricular activities has enabled me to acquire strong verbal and written communication skills. As an outgoing person I have also had numerous opportunities to develop my interpersonal skills to a high level. I thrive in outdoor activities, nature play, physical activity swimming, caring for animals and respecting our planet.

Hayley has been the most wonderful nanny to our daughter. She started with us when my little one was a year. Hayley is incredibly kind and patient, convinced a fussy eater to gobble up her tea and helped develop a love of swimming and the outdoors. Every day was an adventure - hayley is a big fan of the outdoors and every park, farm, sand pit and swimming pool round where we live (and further afield!) were thoroughly explored.

Hayley left when I had our second baby but if we could have kept her forever I would have done!

I cannot recommend her highly enough and I envy whoever is lucky enough to have hayley join their family next!

Thank you Helen for your kind words. Working with your family was a absolute pleasure and regularly think about M and feel a smile appear on my face. Such a bright, fun, quirky, sweet, loveable girl!
Everyday was a joy being with M and hope you get a nanny that appreciates your family unit as much as I did along with your new addition to the family!
Helen and Tommy were fantastic employers to work for, down to earth, considerate, very fair and respectful. l feel very privileged to of been apart of all their lives and continue to keep in contact.

After re-scheduling a first interview at very short notice, this nanny did not show up for the second interview date. Although we have tried to contact her several times leaving a message on her answer machine and writing a text message, we have not received an apology during the days after the missed interview...

A explanation was given very clearly to why I was unavailable, no message was left on my phone.
I have a excellent record of being very reliable with all previous employers and have good clear communication skills to be able to sort any problems should they arise!
Potential employers would be able to see this from my strong references should i be considered for a post.
This user has blocked me from contacting them and has left this review rather than speaking to me in a professional manner if they had a problem.
Good clear communication should be on both parties for a strong working relationship to work.
