Hi my name is Sarah, I am looking for a kind, fun loving family in Cheshire, that need my help as a Nanny. I am caring and outgoing, with a good attitude towards life and have a real love of children of all ages.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time at home with my husband, going on walks with our dogs Izzy & Betty, having my nieces and nephew over for sleepovers, gardening and all things crafty.
My Experience
In my nanny carrier I have cared for children from the age of 10 months upto 15 years of age. I started Nannying when I lived in Australia for a year, I loved it so much I decided to continue when we moved back home.
It took a little while to find the right family but once I did I stayed with that family for 5 years.
I then followed my dream to become a teaching assistant.
I have since been working in a SEN college for the past 4 years, whilst working in this college I was asked if I would like to be trained up to do Animal therapy with our students. I gladly said yes, I have then continued to do a level 2 counselling course, I am due to start the level 3 in September.
So I plan to reduce my days to two days a week in my current job, and start doing two days a week nannying to give me a bit more flexibility to study.
My Qualifications
Level 2 Teaching assistant diploma
Level 2 counselling diploma
First aid trained
I have also completed many CPD course relating to additional needs.
6 years paid Nanny experience
4 years experience of working in a SEN college
My Availability
I am happy to work with the family to find days and times that fit.
I would like to work two days a week, before and after school.
Occasional holiday or weekend cover as I have other commitments.
