About Me
Hello, I am an NNEB nursery nurse and I live in Layton, near to the Hospital, with my husband and 2 children, aged 18 and 15.
I love to be outdoors and my back garden has been designed to provide a safe and stimulationg environment for all ages. We live near Stanley Park so make the most of its wonderful provisions all year round. We enjoy visiting the library and attending local toddler groups, the zoo and Blackpool's attractions.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare since 1990, gaining experience with newborns and in nurseries, schools and a special school.
I love my role as a childminder, being able to provide a happy educational day in a home environment more suited to cater for childrens various daily moods.
Since becoming a childminder in 1998 I have cared for many babies/toddlers/pre schoolers, often going on to care for their future siblings enabling me to form lasting friendships with families.
I am an accredited childminder as part of The Blackpool Steps to Quality Network and have formed strong links with local childrens centres, which I am a Level 2 partner.
I have received 'OUTSTANDING' 2007/08 and 2010/11 and 2015/2016 in my most recent ofsted inspections.

My Qualifications
I am an NNEB nursery nurse. I have always updated my first aid training every 3 years and as part of the Network I attend regular training on safeguarding, food hygiene, new EYFS updates and over the years I have attended training in arts and crafts, music and dance, behaviour management, SEN, speech and language, healthy eating initiatives and many, many more.
My Availability
My working week is: Monday- Friday, full days 8am-5.30pm
half days 8am-12.30pm 1pm-5.30pm

My Fees
- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
My fees are £32 per day, (which includes healthy snacks, dinner and tea.)
£20 half day.
After hours/hourly rate - £5 per hour.
Accredited to take 2/3/4 year old grant.
I also accept childcare voucher schemes.
