I have been a qualified, Ofsted registered, full time, sole charge nanny for over eleven years.
Family one: Jan 2012 - July 2016
When I started my first position there were two children aged 2 years and 11 months. I was with that family for 4 1?2 years, in which time they had another child, which gave me new born experience. I shared the role with Mum for 4 months, after which I had sole charge of all three children.
Family 2: Sept 2016 - July 2017
The next family I worked for had four children aged 2, 4, 6 and 8 years old. That was a ten month, maternity cover role for their regular Nanny. The duties were the same as my first job. I had sole charge of the children for 11 hours a day. I prepared all their meals. I did preschool and school drops and pick ups and took them to their extra curricular activities.
Family 3: Sept 2017 - Sept 2019
Newborn and two year old.
Both parents worked from home so it was a mixture of shared care and sole charge.
Family 4: Wrap around care for 9 and 12 year old.
Family 5: Current. Nanny/house manager. Four children ages 8, 9, 11, and 14. I take them to and from school and clubs, prepare all their meals and snacks, do their laundry, and any other tasks pertaining only to the children.
I worked in a nursery for just under four years on both a supply and permanent basis. My work as supply means I have worked with all age groups between 0 - 5 years.
I am confident, reliable and very passionate about working with children.
I love to read and go to the theatre. I am very musical and have been singing for many years. I was a member of an amateur dramatics group for about 10 years.
My Experience
I worked in a local nursery from October 2007 until December 2010, with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
My roles at the nursery included:
-Observing, supporting and extending the children's learning, and planning appropriately for them using the Early Years Framework for guidance.
-Working in partnership with parents./carers and other family members.
-Being a key person carrying out all related responsibilities in building relationships with a small group of children and their families.
-Ensuring the general cleanliness of the children at all times.
-Adhering to all Health and Safety policies and procedures, and the company policies and procedures in general.
I am currently a sole charge nanny to two school age children.
My role includes all nursery duties and light housework, however I am willing to do more if and when I can.
I am a confident driver with a Full UK License and my own car.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Childcare Qualification that I attained in 2010
My Availability
I am looking for a part time position from May 2023.
I am available all week. Preferably I am looking for around 30 hours over 3 days.

My Fees
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My rate is currently £16-18 gross per hour, depending on the hours offered.
