Hi,
I am a mum of 2, my daughter is 30 and my son is 20 and is at university.
I have always enjoyed working with children as I like the rewards and challenges it brings. I would describe myself as a bright and friendly lady, that can let children be children, but also know that they need boundaries and will work alongside with you as parents for the best of your children’s care. I work well under pressure and can use my own initiative.
I own my own car and have a valid driver’s licence and also a DBS. And due to my role as a care assistant, I can administer first aid if needed.
I am flexible in what area’s I can work.

My Experience
I have worked with children between the ages of 3 -10 years. I was a nursery/ teaching assistant for almost 10 years, until I decided to set up my own venue decorating business with my best friend. Which we now run online via social media. I have done after school care for two young boys but due to covid that stopped as both parents were working from home, so I was no longer needed. I have also worked as a catering assistant in a secondary school, which meant that I was interacting with young adults.
I just recently worked as a care assistant for 15 months and absolutely loved my job as it was challenging, but also very rewarding. The only reason that I gave this up was because the hours were extremely long.
I’m now nannying for twins but it’s only for one day a week. Which is why I’m looking for a more long time position.
