Hello, my name is Jan, I own Busy Bears Childminding Heybridge and I have worked in the childcare profession for over 30 years.
Our home is a happy, comfortable, welcoming environment with the added bonus of a playroom specifically available for the children.
There is always something happening in the setting and my exciting activity plans keep little hands busy.
As well as a safe, stimulating environment, educational opportunities and social interaction, the children in my care benefit greatly from a lot of one to one attention from me.
Individual needs are given great consideration.
I am proud of the service I provide and have great references from satisfied parents available for you to see (or contact personally for complete reassurance).
At my last 2 Ofsted inspections in March 2015 and March 2018 I was graded Outstanding.
I have recently completed Level 3 speech, language and communication training with Elklan.

My Experience
I trained as an NNEB nursery nurse 1986-1988.
Since then I have worked as a Private Nanny, mainly in the Danbury area and then as a Childminder since 2005.
I have attended various training courses and keep my qualifications up to date.
With over 30 years of childcare experience and a lot of training I aim to give the children in my setting the very best.

Jan is an excellent caring childminder who is very efficient and great at her job.
Jan ensures the children are safe in her setting. Jan is always doing activities and crafts with my son, and he comes home with what he has done everyday. Jan has great communication, and sends photos as well as keeps a communication diary which is fantastic. She ensures she does what is best for my son and he is comfortable and happy going there. I would recommend Jan to anyone wanting a childminder for their children where they will be well cared for and enjoy going as well as being the best they can be.

Good simply doesn't cut it when rating Jan's care and commitment to her childminding. She is super diligent about creating and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment and goes the extra mile to make our son's time with her stimulating (when he's not too tired from school to be stimulated!). Jan is flexible and fair, and has become a friend through her long service, sense of humour and values. Excellent would be my rating if the website permitted it!
