About Me
I am a NNEB qualified OFSTED registered childminder. I am a member of the National Childminding Association and have full public liability insurance. I have up to date CRB and health checks. I am regularly updating and undertaking new courses to develop my learning and knowledge.
I am married and have 3 children.
Our days are very fun and action packed, we go on outings most days to places such as the zoo, farms, parks and play groups. When in the house children are kept busy with lots of fun activities.
I am able to do school drop offs and pick ups from Town Lane Infant School and other local schools/playgroups.
My Experience
I am a qualified NNEB with 18 years childcare experience, I have worked as a sole charge nanny of 2 children for 4 years and also in day nurseries with a variety of different ages, including being a baby room supervisor. I have been childminding for 9 years. I hold a paediatric first aid certificate, have attended a safeguarding children course, EYFS training and have completed a home based child carer course. I was graded GOOD by ofsted during my last inspection.
I hold a full clean driving licence.

....drive and commitment to her job is what makes her a fantastic childminder. Amy looked after my son from the age of 10 months when I returned to work from maternity leave. He settled in easly and soon made himself comfortable in the 'home from home' atmosphere that Amy has created. The things that I love about Amy's approach to childminding is she has books and educational learning objects in easy to grab places so the children can freely access them. She feeds the children a fresh, healthy and well balanced diet and she also makes sure the children get out everyday (weather permitting.) It may be the local park, a childmider drop in centre or even the zoo! My son stayed with Amy until he was two, he had a great bond with her and never got upset or anxious when I dropped him off, the only reason we left Amy as she was due to start maternity leave with her 2nd child. I was also really impressed with the diary I was given, each day Amy recorded what my son had done that day, what he had eaten, nappy changes/naps e.c.t and his milestones to ensure mummy and daddy didn't miss out. I would recommend Amy to anyone who is looking for childcare as she is truly amazing at her job.
