Hello,
I am a Ofsted registered childminder with first aid, crb (DBS) and childcare qualifications, I have experience with children of all ages but mainly under 5's. I have cared for children from the age of 3 months up until school age.
I live with my two children, Mia who is 19 and currently attending university and works as a local swimming teacher and Bessie who is 9
I have worked in childcare for 19 years in various roles, becoming an ofsted registered childminder since March 2010.
I provide a range of activities to suit many ages and abilities including, cooking, painting, puzzles, drawing, garden play, dolls, cars etc
We visit local play groups, soft play, library, parks, messy play etc.
My aim is to work with the parents to ensure we are all happy and most importantly the children in my care are content and enjoy their time here.
My Experience
19 years childcare experience working as a nursery nurse, after school club manager, pre school practitioner and childminder.
Experienced in childcare from babies up to teens...... At current I am caring for under 5's.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.75 per hour
Fees include all outings, wipes, breakfast,lunch and snacks.
Baby milk, nappies and baby food is to be provided by parents.
I accept the government 30 & 15hrs funding as well as employer childcare vouchers

Leah looks after my girls for the last year and a half and I could not wish for a better childminder. Very helpful, friendly, organised and simply amazing person.

Leah is an incredible childminder and I have gained complete trust in her looking after my son from the age of 6 months. From our initial visit Leah’s gentle and reassuring nature put me at ease, she is very caring and patient with our son and spends a great amount of time communicating with us about childcare plans and our sons achievements and milestones.
We have worked with Leah for 4 months and unfortunately are moving out of the area, otherwise would look forward to a long relationship with her. Our son loves Leah, her daughter and the other kids and goes in the mornings with a smile on his face.
