About Me
I am a qualified and experienced level 3 Nursery Nurse with 20+ years experience in various types of childcare including a day nursery, a nursery pre - school aswell as managing an After School Club. Further more i have also had first hand experience of being a full time mum to my two sons which has enabled me to look at childcare from a parents perspective and helped me to understand how we as parents want to leave our children in the best possible care. Since completing my childcare diploma many years ago i have continued to work in childcare and during this time i have built fantastic working relationships with parents and children alike. After having my first son i decided it was the right time to start working towards becoming a registered childminder as i love working with children and it also fits in perfectly with my family life. I am registered by OFSTED and I strive to offer good quality childcare in a warm, friendly and loving environment. We attend local playgroups, and other groups within the community, we visit various parks, farms and playcentres. We enjoy going to 'Sign and Rhyme' music and movement sessions and gym tots. At home i provide a wide variety of activities for the children to participate in including a variety of messy play and craft activities, baking, playdoh,water/sand play and also lots of free play with a good selection of toys and resources. We spend a lot of time outdoors exploring various parks and woodlands/forests. The care i offer will help your child grow in confidence and progress in all areas of their development. My Experience
As mentioned above i have worked in a day nursery for 5 years. I then moved on to manage the wrap around care sessions in a nursery school and also managed the After School Club until having my first son.
I am inspected by OFSTED and recieved excellent feedback in my previous inspection and a copy of my OFSTED report is available to parents upon enquiry.
I am able to provide some excellent references on request.
My Qualifications
Level 3 CACHE Diploma in nursery nursing.
Paediatric First Aid
Completed necessary workshops for childminding.
Business management workshop.
Safeguarding children.
I also continue to attend various courses and workshops to keep me up to date with important information regarding childcare and improve myself and the services i offer.
My Availability
Term time only childcare available.
I can also provide free Childcare to those eligible for the 2, 3 and 4 year old funding.
My availability depends on my numbers at the time of enquiry. Please do enquire within.
