About Me
Hello my name is Cheri and am a Ofsted registered Nanny. I love working with Children be it Babysitting or Nannying. I have had varying childcare roles over the past 20 years. I like reading books. I have a few hobbies. I am teaching myself how to Crochet and have recently learned Embroidery. I also do some jewellery making so i am quite creative.
My Experience
I have approximately 20 years experience in looking after children. I have been babysitting since i was 17 and have worked in other roles such as a Nursery as well as becoming a Nanny . I have a CACHE Foundation certificate in childcare and common core skills certification. I was previously a Nanny for a little boy part time who i had been caring for since he was 6months and was with for 4 years. I then cared for a family with 2 girls who where 3 years old and 3 months old. I was also with them a little over 4 years. August 2016 I started with a family looking after 2 little boys full time. I am now currently working part time looking after a 6 and 3 year old. I have been with them for nearly 6 years.
My Qualifications
6 GCSE's (Including child Development)
CACHE Foundation in Caring for Children ( passed at Distinction level)
Peadiactric first aid training
Common core skills certificate (level 3)
Current DBS
Ofsted Registered.
CACHE Nutrition in the early years.
Other certificates for online and in person training.
My Availability
Currently available for temporary ad hoc care or babysitting. I am looking in Chingford, Highams park and Walthamstow Only.
Come August/ September I may be looking for a new family to join as the youngest child I care for will be starting school. I will be looking for either 3 or 4 full days. Locations as above.
